Ramp closure: Prior to the May 9-12 weekend closure, MnDOT crews will close the ramp from westbound I-494 ramp to southbound Hwy 52 and southbound Hwy 52 ramp to eastbound I-494 starting at 9 p.m. Thu, May 8.

Road Closure:  10 p.m. Fri, May 9 through 5 a.m. Mon, May 12

  • I-494 is closed in both directions between Blaine Ave. and Babcock Trail

Motorists traveling on I-494 through this area should use the following detours:

  • Westbound I-494 ramp to southbound Hwy 52
    • Detour: northbound Hwy 52 to Mendota Rd to southbound Hwy 52
  • Southbound Hwy 52 ramp to eastbound I-494
    • Detour: eastbound 70th St. to northbound Hwy 52 to eastbound I-494
